Cheerful entertainment
Very simple toy. Works on a pneumatic system. There is a ball popper, ball cage and three accessory systems. It also has very good battery life. I wish they had given some extra balls. Once the ball is dinged it wont work well. Iam unable to find other balls that fit in the poper. Overall a very good toy, buy when it is on sale.

Our family is living in furnished apartment while we transition to a new house. Most of our toys are in storage. I bought a selection of toys to keep the boys (age 3 and ten months) in our small space. This toy is such a hit. Both boys like it. My ten month old is fascinated. He has played with it off and on all day long every day this week. I watch his coordination improve as he figures out how to start the music, etc. It's just wonderful fun!

love this "Tiny Love Wonder Wheel"
I bought the Wonder Wheel to keep my 18 month old grandson busy on a 14 hour road trip. It did the job; he loved it and is still enjoying it post trip. He plays with it in the house also and is already learning his animals and what they say. I loved it so much I bought one for a gift for a friend.

Entertaining
This item is entertaining for my 18 month old son. I'm not sorry that I purchased it- I think it is worth the money. My only complaint that was written in a previous review is that there is a duck in the middle of the toy, but no button on the steering wheel that makes a duck sound. It was probably omitted due to space, but the company should consider this in redesign.

Loud and irritating
My son recieved this as a gift for his first birthday. My first reaction to seeing it was along the lines of "oh crap, his first annoying, loud, electronic toy", which proved to be true. But my son likes it okay, mostly because he loves hearing the ABC tune.

It's cute, and with all the abuse it's taken even in just a couple of months it's held up - it's been dropped, stepped on, and generally banged around. I have mixed feelings about its phonics value, since it has only one pronunciation per vowel. I also have an issue with some of the censoring. While I certainly don't want my kid's toys saying something inappropriate, I think they went too far. So far I have found that you cannot make any words that end in "as", "az", "ax", "uk", or "uc". My biggest complaint is the volume. This toy is way too loud, even on its lower setting. If my husband or I accidentally trigger this toy at night, it can wake my son up down the hall, through a closed door. But this toy is meant to be played with at close range. I don't know why it even has a louder setting. This is one of my pet peeves about many of the toys out there.

If we hadn't recieved this as a birthday gift, I would not buy it.

Cute...but annoying
I really like the LeapFrog products, we have quite a few. But this caterpillar has an annoying voice. My son likes it for a few minutes, then even he gets sick of it and turns it off. I like the concept, but the voice could be better. And I don't understand why it plays Christmas music for some of the letters. The legs easy to push, and the pronunciations are great too. My son really likes the way he "walks", wobbling back and forth. We also bought one for our nephew who isn't talking. His mom says it has helped him with sounds and words, so that makes me feel better!

Get a different ABC toy
My son seems to enjoy this toy okay but it drives me crazy. He did not use it when learning his ABCs; he preferred a toy with buttons easier to push and larger letters. But he picks this one up every now and then. It has a music mode that plays short songs but if you even barely touch another button it changes to a different song. The string is too short to pull; I am not sure of the purpose of it. I would get rid of this toy if my son didn't play with it at times. Overall I think it is annoying and would recommend getting a different ABC toy.

Not at this price!
I cannot believe what this seller is asking for this toy...[...]?!? I just paid [...] for this at Wal-mart not even two weeks ago. We gave it to my son for his 6th b-day. He and my daughter (who is 11) really enjoy it. She loves to draw, so it works well with her imaginative side. He is learning to write words and is having fun writing lil messages for different ppl in the family. There is one removable drawing board which is easy to clean if you just put it under the sink and wash. The other is not so easy. We just use wet napkins and wash and dry. So far, so good.

It's a great party toy
We had this at our twins' second birthday party, and all of the kids loved it. They loved crawling through the doorway and being inside, and they loved scribbling all over it. It doesn't travel very easily after it's been set up, but it was a really fun thing to have at our party!

This was a Christmas present for my Grandson who is 10. He had it out of the box and was playing with it all day. He was very happy with the way it worked and had lots of fun sharing it with his cousin. Seemed very durable for the older kids if used correctly.

Excellent toy for an 11 and 15 year old.
I brought this set for my 11 year olds birthday. They have had so much fun with it. I have had to keep a supply of batteries on hand because it is his first choice of toy everyday. Either the neigbhors or cousins of my 15 year old sons plays with him everyday. They play in the basement and outside. It was a great investment. It is the only thing that got him off the sofa from playing video games.

Outdoor Fun!
The guns are well-made, simple to use, and provide a good alternative to what might be an otherwise boring workout routine! What's really nice is that they are backward compatible with earlier models of Hasbro Lazer Tag weapons. I play with a small group about once per month, and are able to use all models without compatibility issues. While having two guns is fun by itself, you may want to consider picking up two sets of these to make gameplay even more exciting. Finally, though each weapon can be set to play two teams against each other, if one places the sliding switch between team 1 and team 2, you can accommodate a third team!

Wow!
I thought this was a misprint. Now that I received it, it's gotta be a misprint. This timer is so much better than the price. It's so much better than any other quartz clocks available on Amazon.

It's o.k.
Works fine and is quite durable. My only regret is that I should have bought a digital instead. The flags don't drop on the minute, instead they just kind of hang up for anywhere from 15-45 seconds after the time is up.

An adequate timer, leaves a little to be desired
This is an adequate timer, and it does its job. There were just a few things which I found disappointing. First of all, it is larger than I was expecting: 4 inches by 7 inches by 2 inches. Second, the sound made when pressing the buttons to switch the timers is not very pleasant; it is a pretty loud and plastic-sounding snap. Thirdly, if you press the buttons halfway down, instead of causing both clocks to stop (which is useful for rules challenges, for example), it causes both clocks to run -- not very useful! You have to flip the power switch on the back off to stop both clocks.

That being said, it is a reasonable clock for amateur use, and the seller was great: very prompt shipment (I placed my order on Sunday and received the product on Wednesday), and they even threw in a battery for free.

Great Tactics Intro
This book is a very good introduction to a number of essential tactical concepts. For novice players looking to improve quickly, attention to the lessons in this book will be a big help. The lessons build from simple concepts to more complex motifs in a logical manner, which makes the material easy to grasp.

Chess tactics and combinations to make you a more powerful player quickly!
This is a great book that compliments "How to Beat Your Dad at Chess." It covers various chess tactics that come up or can be created to win material, gain positional advantages and impose checkmate.

Overall, the book is highly readable with good diagrams and easy to follow text. It is thorough in covering important and commonly used tactics, but not overwhelming for new players.

I think Chess Tactics for Kids is a misnomer in a sense since this book is appropriate for almost any adult and probably wouldn't be very useful to kids under 12 years old unless they have more than a casual interest in chess. However, younger kids could certainly grow into it as their interest peaks and they master more fundamental skills.

I've been playing chess for years and got a lot out of this book. I think it's perfect for teenagers and highly recommend it to adults who have not read seriously on chess and are somewhat intimidated or bored by move-by-move type chess books. I also recommend it to younger kids with more advanced chess skills or who are serious doing their homework to improve their skills.

I wish this book was available when I was learning to play chess. It would have saved me a lot of time learning things the hard way and wading through a lot of overly complicated move-by-move type books that I wasn't ready for.

Chess Tactics, Traps and Combination books - the best way to get better
When you are a beginner there is nothing better than studying books on Tactics, Traps and Combinations in chess. This is because the mind of a beginner can certainly understand 1 + 1 = 2. The value of the pieces is clear and coming out ahead can be calculated. This is a point that is a first step in learning chess! Tactics, at any point of the game are important to learn. Knowing what they are, how they work and recognizing them at a glance is necessary if you are going to become a good chess player. "CHESS TACTICS FOR KIDS" works on the most important starting tactics by showing you what they are and giving brief examples. This is not a tactics workbook where you will find hundreds of examples (a good book to get after this) or a traps book (a book also good to get) where you can see the tactics arise from the first move of the game. It is a book where you will learn the "mechanics" of the tactics. The brief chapter on each tactic is a great way to get started!

For the beginner, you can set the play level to low enough level so you are competetive with the computer but as the player strength goes up you cna adjust the computer level upward to always have a worthy oponent and keep the game interesting. Good bok, but not so much for beginners or little kids
Because my kids would like nothing more than to beat their dad at chess, I got this book for my 7 and 4 year old sons. The book does a great job explaining different types of mating patterns, but the explanations are too brief and too abstract for my kids. I learned a lot reading the book, but I'm not sure my kids did. The title makes it seem as if the book is for young children. It is really for intermediate to advanced players. For them, this is a great book. For little ones, I would not recommend it.

One of the best beginner to intermediate chess books available...
This book really improved my beginning chess. First, Chandler gives a great overview of why pattern recognition is important. Then he proceeds to show certain board set-ups to demonstrate various checkmating techniques. Don't be fooled by the title, this is a great book for all beginning chessplayers; more experienced players may already have seen this material, though probably not nearly so elegantly presented! When I began playing correspondence chess with some of my (equally matched) friends, this book did more for me than almost any other (some tactics books were also very helpful, and should be part of your learning experience). In fact, my recommendation would be to tell your friends about this book, but keep it secret from your chess enemies!

White Queen on E2 Complicates (breaks?) #8
I'm a weak player, but curious, so I set up both Chessmaster and Chess Genius with the layout shown for Damiano's Mate, the 8th Deadly Checkmate, but the first example from the introduction.

Neither engine cooperated with Chandler's script by taking 7.Kg1, because both recognized another option: While 7.Qh5 didn't change the outcome of the game, it extended it by nearly 60 moves!

It seems unlikely that this board position is (as Chandler describes) the same one where Grandmaster John Nunn recognized the winning combination in two seconds, because the white queen on e2 changes everything!

That doesn't mean the book is worthless, of course, but it does shake my faith in the author somewhat. If I were a GM, I would recognize the typo and move on; as a novice who is probably the target of this book, I find the gap between explanation and reality most confusing. Has this error been corrected in a revised edition?

We love this game! It replaced another we had given away! Fantastic game and plays well!

Lots of fun
My kids really love this game ... they are too young to actually play the full game but they love setting up the hexes into different configurations and putting the characters on it. Both my son (7) and daughter (5) enjoy it.

This is the best day ever...
This is the best day ever....

...so said my 7 year old son, right before going to bed, having received Heroscape: Rise of the Valkyrie earlier in the day.

We purchased Heroscape several months ago but hadn't planned to give it to him until late July, but with the prospect of being cooped up for a three-day weekend (due to a tornado/thunderstorm cancelled camping trip), the timing just seemed right. It turned out to be a great decision as we had a great time.

One of the best parts was seeing each eureka moment, such as, "aha, if I move my Zettian Guards backwards, you won't be able to get to me next time" or "so if you're going against DW9K you'll want to spread your guys apart". There really are many great opportunities to learn, especially for a 7 year old: addition, subtraction, reading, complex idea formation, not to mention sportsmanship.

I can't say if I had more fun playing Heroscape myself or simply seeing how much fun my boy was having.

We've had the game a month now and the replay value is extremely strong. I was told just this morning that Heroscape is his favorite game.

I highly recommend this game for 8 years(some 7 year olds)and up. I must admit I really enjoy playing it myself (I'm 39) due to the strategic elements involved; we simply handicap the game to promote play balance. Great for spending time together. Great game.

First, design the 3D landscape of your choice by laying out any combination of the 85 interlocking, plastic hex-shaped pieces. The fact that these can be assembled and stacked in new ways each game means the ensuing battle also changes every time you play. The above mentioned fantasy heroes and historical warriors now converge on your newly created terrain to move, attack, and defend. While there is an included rule book that offers up two game variations (one for players under 8 years of age), we like the boundless imagination of this game and the open-minded versatility of its imaginary protagonists. Great for the LOTR fan!!
This game is ideal for the Lord of the Rings fan. It is a cooperative board game for 2-5 players. The players each control one of the hobbits from the book and travel throughout various locations, each represented by different boards (a board for Moria, Helms Deep, Shelobs Lair, and Mordor). Much of the traveling is done by the use of cards and by following certain events. Players do not face one another but instead face the figure Sauron who is placed on the corruption track along with the other hobbits. Each hobbit starts off with zero corruption points and based on the difficulty the players choose for the game Sauron can start at the end of the corruption track, which is number fifteen, or closer to the hobbits, around number twelve on the corruption track. The actions players choose to do during the game can increase or decrease the number of corruption they get. Events also increase or decrease the corruption on each hobbit as well as the use of cards. If a hobbit ever reaches the same spot as Sauron then that player is eliminated. The game is completed by having a hobbit carry the ring to the end of the Mordor board, signifying victory to the players. The game can also end if all players are eliminated by Sauron. This is a quick game that can last no more than two hours and is easy to learn. The rulebook even comes with a short example of play to get players started quickly! My only complaint is that the game is much harder with two players than with three or more. If you want a challenge, play a two player game. But in my opinion, three or more players is the ideal number for a great game of Lord of the Rings Board Game!

For the Lord of the Rings Fanatic
My daughter and I play this game on most rainy or snowy days. It is our favorite game. It is frustrating to play with only two people because we often get slaughtered by Sauron, but we keep on fighting. I love that you have to play as a team instead of competing against each other to win. We have several LOTR games and this one is by far the best.

Brilliant game!
I actually am in the process of buying a copy of this game, but I've played it almost a dozen times with friends, and it's *awesome.* Here's the good:
-Gameplay is well thought out, challenging and involved
-This is a thinking game; the strategy aspect has almost endless replay value
-The artwork is stunning
-Any game where you can play cooperatively is a win in my books
-It's the most unique gameplay concept I've seen in a very long time
-It's freaking hard to win!

The bad:
-The plasticky characters, ring and Sauron item suck massively
-It's freaking hard to win!

We've also played this game with the Friends and Foes expansion pack, but it was actually easier than with just the original game. For my money, the original stands out best by itself.

A required game for any board game enthusiast.

How to tell if a game is right for most people?

Look see how many expansions it currently has, it will tell you how popular this game is.

I was hesitant about buying this game at the beginning but I found out later this is a MUST BUY for mid to heavy gamers. WHY?

You know, most of the boardgames are designed for multiple players, like 3, 4, 5 or more. More people the merrier. But not every time I can get 3 or 4 or 5 people to my house to play. At least I have not meet so many gamers who are as crazy about games as me.

If you can only get 1 friends to stop by or just 1 of your family members who got nothing else to do, this is the perfect game for 2 of you.

The rules is 10 times easier than Axis and Allies (I still have not figure out how to play Axis and Allies exactly), the game goes between 30 ~ 45 minutes, you get to see how is your opponent's brain is wired (good way to learn about a person), and you will get addicted.

Memoir '44 is a two player (more can play with additional copies) game about WWII ground combat in Europe, simple enough to be played by my six year old (with adult help) yet interesting enough to be enjoyed by those who are used to far more complex military simulations. Fast playing and good looking, it is fun and despite the simplicity, it retains a good historical and simulative flavor.

Memoir '44 uses small plastic figures to represent military units, that fight battles on a cardboard map with a hexagon grid superimposed over it. A deck of colorfuly illustrated cards drives the action, and combat is resolved with some nonstandard dice.

The figures include infantry, armor, artillery and some obstacles like barbed wire. They add a lot of visual oomph to the game, and will capture the imagination of anyone who has played "toy soldiers". The figures can represent squads to regiments or larger units, depending on the scenario being played.

The map is two sided, with one side featuring an invasion beach, and the other European countryside. The maps are customized for each scenario with large cardboad hexagon tiles, so environments from urban to rural can be represented. The map is good looking and practical, with hexes large enough to hold the multiple figures representing the forces involved.

The map is divided in to three zones: Left, right and center. The cards each player recieves allow the player to move and attack in one or all of these zones, adding uncertainty to the game. Attacks are resolved with specially marked six sided dice, and players win the game by inflicting losses on the enemy or taking key points on the map.

Most scenarios can be played in an hour or less, although setting up all those cool figures can take a half hour or so.

Veteran wargamers will find Memoir '44 a refreshingly fast playing and fun light game. It is suitable for players who have never played a wargame before, and anyone capable of grasping "Monopoly" should be OK with learning to play Memoir '44.

There are expansions available that bring this game system to the Eastern front and the Pacific.

My six year old boy enjoys the game, and even my wife will play it. A great game for those with any interest in learning about WWII history, or just seeking a fun, competitive game that is fast playing, often tense and looks really good sitting on your table.

Doll/Accessory Packs
This is a wonderful dollhouse and is great for two or more children to play together at the same time without crowding each other too much. I want to let any parents purchasing this item in on something though. You can by the doll packs for a fraction of the price on the Learning Curve website. NO BOYS ALLOWED
While this is a very cool toy, a glaring error is that there are no BOYS, other than the dad. I have a daughter and a son, and she wants her dolls in her dollhouse to be like her family. I think it is a poor choice to exclude boy dolls from the play. I also dislike how all the add-on sets come with another *female* doll. What if we only want the furniture?

A fun toy that should be priced lower
I was recently chosen to receive the Mrs Goodbee Interactive dollhouse by Caring Corners and Cafemom as part of the influencer program. Part of the requirement was to write a review of the products I received I am very grateful for the toys. This is my honest unbiased opinion.

Part of the inWe got our house on a rainy Friday afternoon. Now, as every parent knows, a new toy on a rainy day is a God send! So I told my three year old daughter that I would give her a new doll house if she helped me pick up the living room so we had a place to set it up (being a rainy day it looked like a tornado had hit a toy store and dropped the contents all of my living room). Once the room was cleaned up I let her open the accessory package while I read the paper work that was included.

She received the family night play set which comes with a daddy doll, a tv with three 'channels" to switch to and a reclining couch. She was very excited about it and carried the box around. She did not ask me to open it which surprised me but as long as she was happy I was happy. I found a picture of the house and showed it to her and she 'owwed' and "ahhed" and called it 'cute'.

Who doesn't like Barbie???
Ok. So i got this Barbie for my 5 yr old and she LOVES it. It IS a pretty Barbie, but it ISN'T perfect. The wings fall off all the time and it's hard to get them back on. Hard for me, but impossible for my dtr. I think the main reason that it's so hard to put them back on is because it's difficult to tell which way they go. The slotted things are very similar in size so it just makes it more difficult. The dress is pretty, and even though it and the wings have glitter all over them, the glitter does not get all over everythign, which my husband is greatful for!! LOL!! I gave this doll three stars because of the wing issue. Other than that, my dtr LOVES it!!!

Good, well designed, somewhat easy-to-assemble basketball hoop for young kids. I've seen the others and this one seems best. Leave off the stickers and ball return, it's not necessary. Fill the base with water and empty before winter. It has held up very well. Lots of fun so far!

Great for the horse lover!
My daughter knows more about horses than I do and this toy was great. She had one of every breed and loved that they have their own little spot to go in. I just wish there where little hooks on the back so I could hang it on the wall.

great for little girls who love horses!
My 7 year old is crazy about horses, and this product is a great value because you get 12 little horses for the price you might usually pay for 2 or 3 horses. All you moms out there who have literally a hundred little "horseys" laying around the house will appreciate this! My daughter plays with them for hours. The back of the box also identifies each of the 12 horse breeds, and gives a little story about the horse, so the product is somewhat educational. I gave this product a less than perfect score on the measure of "durability" because the horses are small and the legs could break off if stepped on or thrown in the bottom of a toy box.

Durable, Fantastic Kitchen
My daughter received this kitchen from Santa 3 years ago when she was not quite 2 years old. I wanted something that was made from mdf or composite so it would be extremely heavy, yet not plastic or cheap. She has loved it from the moment she got it. We carved out a place in our kitchen for it and it's become a permanent fixture. While I'm busy fixing dinner, she goes over and fixes dinner. It has an endless amount of playtime and requires her to use her own imaginiation- no sound effects included with this one! Now that she's learning to read she even sounds out the grocery list that is painted on the fridge door. A clock on the side with moveable minute and hour hands is a great educational bonus as well. I can't even count the number of times she has "taken my order." This was by far one of the best toy investments we've ever made. It gets played with by every kid who comes in our door- no matter what age or gender. Fair warning, though- because this is a sturdy item of high quality, it took my very handy husband several hours to put together.

Well-built and so much fun
My daughter is only 18 months, so her interaction with the kitchen has a long way to grow. But I can certainly see that she will grow into and will love it more and more. She already loves opening the doors and turning the knobs and prentending to cook noodles.

It's also extremely well-built and I can see it lasting through a few more kids, at least. It's also just so cute. We love it.

THE BEST BABY GIFT EVER!!!!!!!
I bought this for my baby when she was 5 months old. She could sit in it and it supported her just fine. She'd kick her legs and squeal when she's bounce. Her tippie toes barely reached the floor. However, the motion sensor sound and lights went off and it would give her giggle fits and she loved being in this more than her Papsan swing! She'd fall asleep in in it and the seat is set up so nicely that it makes a comfortable place for them to catnap! Once she was a little bigger and could jump she'd want to be in it nonstop! Shop around. Amazon had the best price, $[...] with free shipping. I bought it for my 6 month old, and she loves it. It took her a couple weeks before she learned how to jump and twist in it, but she loves it now. Keeps her occupied for about 20-30 minutes at a time. Seems like forever to a busy mom!

A great jumper for your little monkey!!
I bought this jumper for my grandson when he was 4 1/2 months old b/c his dad loved the doorway model when he was a baby. After a short learning curve for the jumping aspect of the toy, he absolutely loves it!!! He likes the toys that are attached- I wasn't sure about the firefly b/c it just hangs over the side, but he goes for Flora Firefly every time he's in the Jumparoo. He will jump and jump to keep the music playing (you can set the music to play when he jumps or all the time or not at all) and is absolutely thrilled with the results as evidenced by the ear-splitting grin on his face. This is definitely a must-buy. I move it from room to room while I clean up or cook dinner or even eat lunch (yes, you can even have a hot meal courtesy of the Jumparoo!). We have the Rainforest mobile and he likes to see his Rainforest Friends here as well. The only drawback to the Jumparoo is the height adjustment. Even at the number 1 setting, we have to place a small pillow or folded blanket underneath in order for his toes to touch the floor as recommended because he's not the tallest monkey on the percentile charts. But I would definitely recommend getting this toy for your baby-they can just sit in the Jumparoo and watch the world or have some great jumping time to exercise those leg muscles that they'll soon be using to run around the jungle-5 Stars in my book!

it's my godson's favorite toy
I bought this for my godson's 1st birthday, and he loves it. It's educational, as it gives a parent an opportunity to teach animal names as well as colors. Children can learn motor skills by loading and unloading the train. I think it's pretty. It's my godson's favorite toy right now.

Fun Train Toy
My son has played with this train for over a year now (from the time he was one). He doesn't care too much about the animals, but the train itself he loves to play with - he pushes it around and loads things into it. As a parent, you may start to despise the cutesy songs about animals, but thankfully, there is a switch to turn it off or have it on a lower volume. This train has held up really well under a lot of rough use (outside in the dirt, water spilt on it, etc.). Good toy, good quality.

Adorable, fun, durable and did I mention aoorable? :-)
I ordered this from Amazon a year ago for a great price with the FREE super saver shipping, and it has gotten a lot of play. My now 2 1/2 year old daughter and her little friends all love to play kitchen and whip up some fun with this food. (I know the recommended age is 3 and up but in my opinion this is really fine for a 2 year old, maybe just watch the egg if they put things in their mouth still) I would definitely buy this again. Another great Melissa and Doug product!

Great Set!
My son loves this set. The only downfall is that the orange is just a painted ball and has been permanently taken away due to throwing. The same is about to happen with the lemon, egg and tomato. So, if you have a thrower in your house, beware! They are solid pieces and hurt! Other than that, love it! My son loves to make burgers and hot dogs (no bun with the hot dog though). He also loves to go to the "store" and "buy" milk and bananas. Love the set, and the crates the food comes in!

not as much fun as other Melissa & Doug products
This doesn't compare to the birthday cake or pizza for fun. For fruit & vegs play food I would suggest the velcro cutting food instead. Way more interesting.

15 Month Old Son Loves it!
My son received this as a gift a couple weeks ago and plays with it daily. The animals that came with it do not have fur. They each have their own stall...except the goat?? The doors make the sound of the animal that goes in that stall. The only complaint with durability is that the silo disconnects easily from the barn, but it is supposed to. It makes for a fun game for my son to tear it off and want me to fix it.

All in all, the toy is very entertaining for my son. He plays with it about 30-45 minutes throughout the day...which says a lot. I would definitely recommend the purchase if your child loves animals and likes figures.

My 3 year olds still love this toy
We received this toy for my twin girls' first birthday. They are now 3 and a half and still play with this toy. The only downside is the silo does come unattached very easily and it was quite annoying to keep fixing it. Now though the silo unattached is a rocket ship and pretty much anything else they can think of. I bought this for my 2 year old niece and her sister who is almost 1 and they both love it. Definitely worth buying!

Great addition to the collection!
My son received this barn for his birthday. He really likes playing with it. He usually drives his cars through the opening, and likes using the animals with the Little People Zoo. The only problem we've had with this is the silo has come off! My son dropped it, we put it back on, and it fell off again. This makes it easier to store, but also doesn't get played with now. I couldn't take anymore toys that make noise, so we didn't put batteries in it....and my son doesn't seem to mind at all!!

Best Hot Wheels Track!
Over the years, we've gotten many Hot Wheels tracks, for my older and my younger son. Most end up in the garbage with us swearing off Hot Wheel's "crap" for good. And ultimately, we end up giving them another chance. In this case, I'm glad we did.

I got this set for my 5 year old Christmas 07 and today it is still being used. Its currently set up on the side of my LR for the holidays. My son can set it up himself and play with it without help and more importantly, without it falling apart.

I'll be looking into the add on sets!

My Boys Love It!

upper or lower case letters?
Just confused by the pics. Does this come with upper or lower case letters? or both? i'm looking for one of the leap frog items with lower case letters.

Letters are NOT interchangeable with OLD version Fridge Phonics
My daughter loves this Fridge Words. However, I wanted to post that the letters are NOT interchangeable with the old version Fridge Phonics with the frog on it. The Fridge Words letters are smaller than the older Fridge Phonics letters and neither works with the other. I'm disappointed to learn this because I bought her the Fridge Phonics when she was younger and now that she's the right age for the Fridge Words, they've resized the letters. Looking at the store, it looks like the letters are interchangeable with the new Fridge Phonics with the sun on it.

Great toy to grow with your child
Bought this when my daughter was 1 and bought another pack of lower case letters to reinforce both upper and lower cases. Used the letters on the fridge as phase one so she would learn letters, upper and lower, and sounds. The Word Whammer is excellent because it really does grow with your child - at 1 she was identifying letters, at 2 she was learning sounds and beginning to play games - at almost 3 she is learning to read basic words and hunt for letters and is experimenting with rhyming. We have gotten incredible mileage out of this toy and find it highly educational and useful for kitchen play while I'm cooking or cleaning. It is also very very durable. An excellent investment.

Totally fun for 5 year olds boys!

great concept, hard to use
I bought this for my 2 year old son who loves helmets and police motorcycles. He loved it instantly. The problem? The helmet did not fit his head no matter how we tightened it. We ended up using the inside padding of a bike helmet so that it might fit him. But it still needs the chin strap done or it falls off, and it is not a comfortable strap. Also, the microphone side is so much heavier than the other side that the helmet is usually at a tilt on his head, even with the chin strap done. The handlebars work very infrequently. At first I thought it was the batteries, and replacing them helped the first time, but now even that does not work. I am very disappointed with this product.

Wow!!
My three year old LOVED it!! My 7 year old boy says its cool. I was a little put off by the price, but glad after research we were glad this is the one we purchased. Every thing works well. It is is a little tippy, but fun fun fun. No water keeps it mess free. I did not think we would enjoy it so much. Great product.

Cute but too expensive
Our 2-year-old thought it was a novelty to begin with but now it just hangs out in the toybox most days. The doll is cute and works for what it's intended to do. However, many phrases are hard to understand. The white "counter top" never stays on so I finally threw it out. The actual toilet/sink set-up is very tippy so you have to set it against something to keep it from falling over. My daughter likes to carry the doll around but, in my opinion, paying this much for a doll/potty is overpriced. She would have been happy with a different doll. I couldn't say whether this has helped with potty training or not since she is working on it and hasn't played with the doll for several weeks now. Cute doll, nice that no water is involved...but too $$ for this type of economy.

Fun toy
My daughter, who is almost four, loves this doll. She is not a doll lover and never showed any interest in dolls until this one. She has played with it every day. It makes her laugh, and she talks to it. It is expensive at $50, but since this was her first doll request I caved in. My daughter loves brushing the doll's teeth, giving her a drink (and my daughter has figured out that pushing the dolls tongue triggers the drinking sounds and finds it extremely funny that the doll will "eat" the tooth paste or anything else she puts in her mouth). The pee/poop sounds also make her laugh, especially when the doll says "oh that is stinky". I agree with the other reviewer about the shelves, they don't stay on. I kept the back drop as well and left the toilet and sink attached at the bottom. This adds stablity. Plus it makes it look like a little bathroom. I wasn't interested in this doll because my daughter is already potty trained, but she loves it. My daughter has a little trouble with the flushing of the toy toilet, it is hard to push down all the way. Things I like about the toy is that it says please and thank you. The one thing that I have reservations about is that the doll makes a "rasberry" sound then laughs. My daughter finds this hilarous, but now copies it and blows rasberries all the time. I also wish the doll was programmed to ask to play or look at a book with the child. At least some activity away from the toilet, and then has to stop play to go potty (that would be a good potty training skill reinforcer). Our doll seems to loop into the sleep talk a lot, and rarely talks about washing hands. Overall we are satisfied, everything works and my daughter is having fun roll playing.

Nice but be aware of dimensions
My daughter is 2 1/2 and loves this track. It is a lot of fun for her and she loves running around it to control if Thomas will go through or over the waterfall. It seems fairly sturdy but we have the occasional pieces come off and it's usually right around the bridge (that's where the "controls" are to make the train go through the waterfall versus over the top). She has to push pretty hard on the button to drop the bridge and that is what causes most of it. The issues we have ran into so far are thus, first, the force at which the trains go down the waterfall causes the switch on top of the train to move and it turns the trains off at the bottom when it hits the curve. This happens maybe 10-15% of the time. It's not a big deal, my daughter will either turn it on again or if she has two trains running the second train is able to push the first one around. Also, while going around the loop to the bridge/waterfall, the front edge of the trains seem to get caught on the plastic supports so we have to pick it up and correct it. Lastly, the size of this track it is roughly 67 inches in length and there is no way this will fit on a standard train table. Right now we have this on the floor and I'm debating having my husband make a custom table to fit it since we don't have a train table. If we already had a table, this would be a big minus and we probably would not have purchased it.

Much bigger than I expected and the price was same as Wal-Mart! It arrived in quick time too. Thanks again..
Very impressive track! It does need a lot of room, but keeps kids occupied for long periods of time. Really a good buy for Christmas and everyday. It also shipped FAST... At this point, it is the nicest of the Thomas collection.

Cute toy!
This toy is really cute! My kids (3 and 5) love it. My husband had no problems putting it together (besides the fact the kids were bugging him at the time)and it seems pretty durable to me. I did test it by half jiggling the bridge and the side came off but that was easy to put back. But it's not coming off with normal play. I love how the bridge drops down and the train comes through the waterfall. It would be cool to have real water but that would be very messy.

Good truck
This is made with the same quality as all of Tonka's trucks. The description is a bit misleading though. It is made out of plastic, more than metal and suitable to a younger child. We will be returning it (it was to be for our 5-yr.-old's xmas present)and finding him a bulldozer that is more age appropriate. But it would be fabulous for a three-year old!

Baby loves it and I like the tunes

non matching dolls
i love the movie and the dolls, but this drives me nuts that i cannot find matching dolls anywhere. even here they are sold differently. one uses a strap to change dresses, the other a knob. it's not that big of a deal, but since they aren't the same model number, when they sing their duet, it's off. liana sings faster than alexa and the brochure tells you to buy matching dolls, but they're aren't any!

Alexa is a better doll than Liana in the Diamond Castle Series
The Barbie & The Diamond Castle (B&DC) Princess Alexa doll is the same height and proportion as the 90's 00's era dolls. Not too many complaints about this one--see my review on Liana for the alternate review.

First, Alexa has a dress transforming pull on the back. It does not hide well, but it is part of the dress and not of the doll, so I feel it's not as bad as the Liana twist knob. The issue with this however, is that it does not hide the transformed diamond dress very well. If this is important, you may need to sew on a few more pieces of pink glittery velcro on the front side to keep the seam from showing.

Lianna has flesh toned legs underneath her dress. These bend at the knees and are quite pose-able.

Another neat thing with this Barbie is that her skin tone is darker complected than her Liana counterpart. She does appear to have more makeup on than the Liana doll, but my daughter enjoys it more than the Liana (that her sister has) because it matches her skin tone and hair color.

As with all Barbies, the shoes do not stay on. I have contemplated either super gluing them on the feet or removing them so my daughters don't lose them.

Another issue with the B&DC dolls is their accessories are few--this one has shoes, a crown, and a brush. Many less expensive Barbies come with more stuff. And all of these items are small, losable, and possibly a choking hazard.

Now for a critique on her "singing ability." It's nice to hear the first time, but the two songs very quickly lose their appeal, even if it's a former American Idol singing (McPhee). The Liana doll does do a nice duet with the Alexa doll, but again, it's a quickly fading novelty, and gets worse when you do not push the sing buttons at exactly the same time, or if the two songs are mismatched. !!IMPORTANT FIX!! If your Liana doll does not sing two complete songs when you take her out of the box and pull the tab out of her back, try this before you take it back--1) Find a thin piece of metal: paperclip, cake tester, needle, etc 2) Insert it into the hole in the back 3) pushing slightly in a downward motion skim the floor of the hole 4) About halfway in, the metal should catch the switch 5) pry this in an upward fashion (it will stay that way) 6) Remove metal tool from doll and press sing button 7) Assuming the batteries are not dead, the doll will sing again. I checked all over the internet for a fix, but none were to be found, including the mattel website. Cheers!

Fun for your daughter
We first purchased the singing Liana Barbie doll for my daughter, which she loves. Then we found out that the Liana and the Alexa dolls sing together, so my 4 year old had to have Alexa too. She got Alexa for her birthday and has been so happy with her. Alexa's dress is much easier to switch back and forth than Liana's. When you press the two dolls hand simultaneously (which is hard for a 4 year old) they sing in sync with each other and it is really neat. Even if you don't have both dolls, they are equally as fun by themselves. I highly recommend these for your Barbie lovers!

A hit in our house
My 4yo got this for his birthday. Within minutes of setting it up, our 18 month old had also figured out to work it. They play with it all the time. It is BIG, but for us it's worth the floorspace. I've been recommending this toy to everyone!

My son love it but plastic moulding precision questionable
When I first received the package, I found a bonus not listed in the product page. It comes with a free Geotrax 3 series DVD (with GeoAir).
Setting up
----------
There are not many pieces in the box. The steps to construct the control tower with "air" tracks are pretty short too. However, I found two major flaws with the plastic moulding. First and most important flaw is the blue main base of the toy. Yes, an adult is needed to setup the pieces (just like Geotrax Grand central station that I bought previously for my son too). But getting the control tower all the way into the blue main base piece needs a great amount of force as well as a flat tip screw driver. You won't be able to force the control tower in unless you insert the screw driver to pry for more space. The slot for the control tower is smaller than the control tower, plastic moulding not precise! The second but more minor problem is the yellow gate. It does not fit securely onto the blue main base piece again due to lack of precision in plastic moulding. When your kid plays the toy, there's a chance the gate will come off frequently. The bundled plane needs 3 AAA battery and the infra-red remote uses 3 AAA too. Be prepared to use rechargeable or get more batteries if your child plays it frequently.
Playing

The remote is fairly easy for a kid to handle. It only has 2 buttons, one to start the plane moving on the track, the other to stop the plane moving on the track. The plane itself has a red button (with light) to on or off it. My younger two year old is able to handle the plane and remote. The sound given off by the remote when the buttons are pressed is loud and clear, simulating the airplane flying and slowing down. It's quite fun at first to see the plane going up the track and suddenly rolling down. Your kid may also like lifting the pilot up the control tower. But without extending the track by getting add-ons or buying more planes, kids may find the toy boring after a while.
Recommendation
--------------
I see value for money for this toy since there is a remote control and most kids will get to learn something extra. Oh, and it comes with a free DVD (each series is pretty short though). But the plastic moulding could be more precise to make the toy easier to setup and maintain.

Awesome music cube

Everything you want in a toddler toy
The Munchkin Mozart Magic Cube is practically the perfect toddler toy. My 15 month old son recieved this as a gift and at first I thought he would get bored of it rather quickly. Turns out, this is one of his favorite toys. It is durable enough to withstand being dropped, kicked and rolled around the playroom floor. He loves to play the music and dance along to it. I don't have a problem with the sound or music quality. This is one of the better sounding toys we have purchased. My son loves how the sound changes when he presses different buttons (which are large and easy for small hands to press, unlike many other similar toys). Even my 10 month niece loves this toy. This is definetly on the top of our holiday toy giving lists!

Still having fun a year later
My son got this Tonka ride-on for his 1st birthday. He played with it by pushing it around and storing little toys in its cargo area. Now that he is just past his 2nd birthday, he is riding around the house and playing with all the sounds on the wheel. A good, sturdy toy that will keep them entertained through different stages.

Revvin Beepin Wheel IS NOT INCLUDED
This toy is exactly like the other one that is $10.00 more. But, the Revvin Beepin Wheel is not included and I could not find anywhere that you could purchase it separately.

So, if you want the wheel ...order the other one.

dump truck review
This truck is very nice. Looks to be very well made with real steel, not plastic like so many other cheap toys these days. My boys haven't had a chance to really play hard with them but they are 12 months old and do like them a lot. This toy is nice because it encourages kids to use their imagination unlike so many of the new toys these days! Definatley looks well built and worth the money.

My Son's Favorite Toy
Given to us on his first birthday, my son has been in love with this truck since before he could walk. He pushed it on his knees for a few months. He used it to lean on while he was cruising. He pushed it around the house when he finally learned to walk. Now, he uses it indoors and out. He loads it up with leaves, toys and such and then dumps it out. He runs behind it at breakneck speed.

This is the best gift a boy could get.

Awesome Truck!!!
My son has 4 of these. One for inside my house, one for inside his grandparent's and 2 for outside. He has played with them nonstop since he started walking. Sometimes his big sister even joins in. I buy one for every little boy birthday party we go to...and it is always a huge hit!!

Best Toy Lately
This is the best toy we have encountered in a long time. My son received it for his 5th birthday, and all the other toys have gotten tossed aside for this one. Even his classmates (he takes it - or parts of it - to show & tell every week), neighbors and friends are enthralled by this thing. Personally I don't like all the small detachable parts, but the kids LOVE the flexibility to create whatever their little minds can come up with.

This earns our household's vote for Toy Of The Year. We're buying it for all of our friends with kids. Add the stomp-on rocket coordinating piece, and grownups even get into the action!

great for siblings
My 4 yr old son got this for his bday. He and his sister played for hours, without fighting! They took turns being the space shuttle and the ufo. We also have the Mega Rig construction set, which was a huge hit, but we have lost a few pieces. Now we can use some of these parts with our new set!

Five year old has eyes for nothing else
My five year old absolutely adores this toy - he's usually very fickle with toys and doesn't stick with any one toy for very long, but this one has lasting power.

The frustration-free packaging was nice too (although with that packaging, it came *halfway* put together... but the instructions start at ground zero and aren't in color, so it was a little hard to figure out how to put the rest of it together).

It took him a while to figure out how to put the pieces together and pull them apart, but now he can do that, and he's *really* enjoying it. All-around great toy, to the point that I ended up getting him another mega rig set as well.

Cute Fun and Not Too Much Stuff
This package of LPS is great, it's got a good selection of animals and not a ton of accessories that just get lost. It also has a vinyl zipper case that can be used as a carrier. It's also a good value for the money vs. the number of pets.

Restored faith
This company really surprised me: When, at first, I had a complaint about my order, they immediately responded and sent a replacement order without a return request for my previous order. Instead they asked that I donate the previous order to charity. I was pleased with the promptness of their response to my complaint, their immediate action to rectify the situation and their social responsibility in their request to donate the unwanted item to charity. They are an exemplary company in my book.

We use these as train table accessories...
...and they are working out great with our Thomas Layouts. Melissa & Doug products continue to impress me with their high quality and typically provide great educational value. These are educational and your children will learn things like Police Station, Fire Station, Hospital, School, Town Hall, Grocery Store, and Post Office. There are several different shapes too, including squares, rectangles, triangle, and the various signs. The buildings and most of the roof pieces only have the building design on one side. The trees, ambulance, fire truck, and mail truck are large and double sided. The various street signs, and passenger cars are a little small, and as the box states ages 3+ and up, I would consider these smaller pieces a choking hazard. The larger pieces are enjoyed by both my 1 yr old and my 3 yr old. The rectangles are the largest piece in the set and measure 4 3/4 by 2 1/4" approx. Squares are roughly 2 1/4 x 2 1/4". These blocks are not as heavy as I expected, but still nicely made, and bright colorful additions to playsets like Thomas/Brio train sets. If your children don't insist on the real thing, this is a great way to save some money and still buy a quality product.
The only drawback is the wooden storage box doesn't come with a sliding plexi cover like the Melissa & Doug pizza set or beading set does. That would be really nice for storage and secure those little pieces that we don't use.

Great purchase
We purchsed these blocks a year ago for our oldest son upon the recommendation of his early intervention specialist. They have been great and we all enjoy building with them. You can use them for so many skills other than just building. We started by separating just the one-inch blocks and having him practice stacking them. You may know that the number of one-inch blocks a child can stack is a judge of developmental milestones. Because they are brightly colored we also used them for color sorting and eventually patterning (we build a tower in a pattern and he copies it.). Now he is using them to build three-dimensional pieces. However, we have been adding back pieces so that he is not overwhelmed by the sheer number of pieces.

It is true that you need a flat surface to build with them, but you do for all blocks! We have been able to get decent height on our berber carpets but we saved the crate and often build in or on it. Now our younger song is using them and I think they are holding up very well. All in all, an excellent purchase, especially for the money!

Economical Set of Wood Blocks
These all-wood blocks are colorful, which I think is both a pro, and a con of the set. The vivid colors attract young peoples attention, which is a pro, yet as the blocks are played with they develop bumps and bruises along the way that chip the paint, and detract from their appearance. The manufacturer sells a multitude of real-wood sets, both in natural, and painted finishes. In retrospection, I should have considered one of their expensive hardwood sets as they're made of kiln-dried wood, which helps to resist dents and dings; in addition, they carry a lifetime guarantee. This set is most likely made of a soft wood like pine, so they are lightweight, and dent easily. The kiln-dried sets cost considerably more than the painted sets, although I think, they're worth the extra money.

These blocks don't play well on carpet. Unless you have a low-pile commercial carpet in your home, these blocks really need a hard surface to support the endless combinations of stacking fun. If you're considering a set of real wooden blocks, this is certainly an economical choice. My son is kind of a block junkie. He has an assortment of blocks, and for some reason these painted blocks didn't do it for him. He's warmed up to them with time, but Mommy's perspective is that they are pretty darn cool. I enjoy pulling these blocks out and working the creative side of my brain, and once I initiate play my son stacks right along side of me. Just be prepared this set may not be an independent plaything until the age of 5.

Great creative toy!
I bought this set for my 5 year-old grandson and his 3 year-old sister. They were excited when they opened it and have been playing with it frequently since Christmas. They have great imaginations and Spiderman and Dora have been scaling the castle walls! The set is sturdy and well-made, and I think they'll enjoy it for years to come.

Sturdy, fun and imaginative. For those who still love blocks but who have that great creative imagination that loves a story to go along with every game.

Great themed block building toy.
My four year old daughter is very impressed with this toy. She likes the fact that the makers of this set gave her two small wooden knights in armor and two small horses to help her imagine that they are gaurding Rapunzel as she sits waiting for her prince in one of the taller towers. There are enough pieces and accessories to build a nice sized castle. A picture on the box it comes in gives a few ideas on building but really, any child would have no need for encouragement to play this toy. There is no need. *I* even wanted to play with it!

The educational value is priceless. My daughter has told stories based on what she built, uses science and math concepts to build, and there are no limits on her imagination. Socially, it is great when more kids join in. I might get another set just to build bigger castles and towers for Rapunzel and her dragon friends.:)

I like the fact that it is very sturdy, very nice to look at (It looks beter than the picture - if that is possible), and introduces so many ways to play. Also, it comes in its own wooden storage box- something I was not expecting. The wood is very solid feeling and it looks great. I am very impressed with these blocks.

Excellent Addition
This is an excellent addition to a basic wooden block set. Our daughter has loved playing with wooden blocks since she was 3 years old (she is now 4 1/2). We added these architectural blocks to her basic set and they have allowed her creativity to expand. The blocks are smooth, sturdy and durable. They have done a great job in holding up to the demands of a preschooler and we would definitely recommend them.

Bakugan balls
I found that the toy cost more than it is worth and was very frustrated that no toy stores stock them. More frustrating is the look of dissappointment on my grandson's face as we went to 4 different stores looking for them. But as usual Amazon.com came through although they didn't sell them directly I was able to secure them.
If not for the kiddies I would strongly suggest to all parents and grandparents to boycot the toys when they actually come out in the stores. It's amazing that such effort goes into advertising them but nobody has them in stock.

My son still loves his Bakugan
We got the red pack first (one broke), then the blue pack, and for the green pack I made my son 'work' for it ($1 for doing homework without complaining, etc.). He was diligent and relentless! He has had the green pack now for about a month and still loves all his Bakugan. Considering how much you can pay for a toy that rarely gets used, these are worth the money. Also, although one did break early on, none of the others have, and at this point they have been tossed into the backpack and thrown around a LOT. So I think overall they're pretty sturdy. Definitely a winner of a toy for us!

Bakugan for older than 8 years
My 9 year grand son has now graduated from Pokemon to Bakugan. He loves them and plays with his friends. They all have them, also. Whenever I ask him what he wants from me, it is always a new Bakugan Pack, so I guess it is a fun toy.

Nice collector's case
This tin contains 18 bins for your Bakugan and a slot for the metal cards and ability cards. The tin comes with 5 ability cards and 5 metal cards. There are two special Pearl Bakugan that accompany this set.

The bins are actually 2 soft plastic trays that are not too durable. However, if your child can be careful, this tray will have some reasonable durability. It's a snug fit to put the cards in so be careful.

Overall, the concept of carrying cards and the figures in one case with 2 bonus figures and 10 cards is a good value for retail price of $20.

If you can find it, at the price I paid, it's a good value.

A great gift for all ages. WE do lots of building with our grand child
and the blocks are well made and colors and size are also very good.
They are smaller than my first purchase so they make building interesting.

Creativity, fine motor skills, classic toy...
These are just what I wanted! This was the biggest set I could find with colorful blocks, and they seem to be well made. These remind me of the ones I played with as a child, so I know I'll enjoy playing these with my son. I personally like the size of the blocks--they're not for babies, but perfect for my three year old, and will be a good toy to grow with him.

Great Wood Blocks
I bought these for my son for Christmas. I like the toy, however, he seems to be so interested in trains at the moment that he has not even stopped to look at the blocks. However, I feel confident that he will if I am patient and play with him with the blocks. He is only 2. I am very happy with the quality of the blocks. I sure wish that the blocks had some kind of bin to put them in. The box is not adequate.

Bakugan great fun but expensive
Because the Bakugan toys are in such demand, the prices have gone up. My 11 and 9 yr old sons love the Bakugan brawlers. They want as many as possible, plus the accessories, for Christmas. I was able to find the Bakutins for $19.99 at Target. What a find!

The Big New Toy!
These things are impossible to find in stores! The first Bakugan my grandson opened, he got a bit excited and tried to close it without properly folding it in. It snapped apart. He learned fast! Since he now takes the time to close them properly, he's had no trouble. Once I started getting a few in the mail, it looked like I was receiving all the same "marbles," but once the Bakugan are opened (on the metal card), I was able to see each one was very different. MODERN DAY GAME OF MARBLES

The Bakugan-Mania is here. I had no idea what my daughter was talking about since she spoke a mile-a-minute about what the latest craze in children's toys. These items are in extremely high demand and are similar in genre to Pokemon cards, Yu-Gi-Yo, and Digimon. The characters appear to be a spin off from Japanese anime, in my perception.

What are Bakugan?

They are action figures that are morphed from small plastic marbles, based upon a television show on the Cartoon Network. Each figure comes with a metallic card that has a point value. A point value is also imprinted on the figure.

A magnetic lock in the toy is triggered to open when the figure is placed onto a metallic game card.

How do you play the game?

Each player starts out with 3 Bakugan and 3 cards. Only one care can be a special ability card. The youngest player starts. Depending upon how many players are participating (2-4), determines where the cards are placed in the arena. When a Bakugan is rolled and lands on a card, it opens.

If the Bakugan does not open, the player loses a turn.

If 2 figures land on the same card, a point total is taken to count up the power value of the Bakugan + the value of the card. The higher sum wins the card and the figure. At the end of the round, the highest total of points wins the game.

My daughter's after-school care has an Bakugan Class where children play in the afternoon. She is 7 years old but her friends who have it range from 6 to 10 years old.

Wow, these are really nice blocks. Especially compared to other sets that are out there: these give some really toys for the price. They're quite large too, we can't easily put them all out together on our kids play-table.

I bought these at full price fearing they might sell out. I wish I had waited, I would have gotten two sets, the price keeps dropping as Christmas approaches. They are Great blocks, the size is wonderful, most blocks are so small I have to worry about the baby getting them and they are much more frustrating to build with for a younger child. These are big and heavy and stack very well. I'm hoping to find cheaper shipping then I'll be purchasing a second set.

Must have for grandson. As adults we feel the 24dollars is kinda pricey for such a small toy, and the pieces are so small as to be easy to lose. Grandson does like the toy. The toy did arrtive in time frame (acrtually erlier than expected) and condition as promised. Would not be a good toy for smaller children and should not be left around "tasters" as parts are small and easy to get into a "taster' mouth.

For those who didn't know, these are the hottest things on the shelf lately for little boys. Why? They're cute, different, and the boys can trade them.

The Bakugan-Mania is here. I had no idea what my daughter was talking about since she spoke a mile-a-minute about what the latest craze in children's toys. Necessary for organizing those little balls!
I bought this for my son as a way to organize his Bakugan. It was such a good way to organize them, I bought him another one. It is durable and rotates in to hold the Bakugan inside. It is easy to remove them. We had originally stored the Bakugan in a Tupperware box, but they kept popping open. With this holder, they stay closed in a ball, thus less chance of damaging one during transport.

One note: this does not hold the new larger special Bakugan, only the smaller, regular ones. The only thing I could wish for is a place to also hold the cards. We still need a separate container for those.

Bakurack is a must for Bakugan fans!
My kids have about 50 Bakugan, and the Bakurack is great for keeping them all contained. Not only does it protect the precious and VERY expensive little toys, it also helps save Mom's sanity by preventing these small toys from getting lost in the couch/car/bed/etc. No more complaints about lost Bakugan! Very durable and easy to use, even for small hands.

My only wish is that it held more than 15 Bakugans, so if you have more than 15, you will need more than 1 Bakurack.

Two boys' review: Webs run out soon, toy is not a good value
We bought two of these for our young sons. They are both die-hard Spider-Man fans and loved the idea of shooting webs just like Spidey.

Our sons loved these web shooters...while they lasted. Even with the extra canisters of web fluid, our sons ran out of webbing in the first weekend.

The negatives:

* The shooter is bulky, so take care that young children don't accidentally fall down on it.

* The web fluid lasts for only a couple minutes. I won't be buying replacements at $5 per can.

* The trigger mechanism has a tendancy to stick.

* The edges of the foam darts split after repeated use.

In summary, your child will have a web shooter than fires from only three of its intended five canisters. For the price, the toy should last longer.
This is a great toy for a weekend but it doesn't hold up for an entire summer.

Web Blaster for a four year old
At first it appeared it might be a little big for a four year old, but the energy was abundant so the can of webslinger lasted all of 3 minutes. After depleting the can of web spray, he continued to expend that bundle of energy launching the small soft darts or squirting the water gun. The cost is marginal for what you get. They should include at least two cans of spray knowing it does not last long at all. The product appears to be well built and safe for young children to play with. If it lasts another 5 months then the durability will be considered good. I would only recommend this for a young child that is fairly active or has good command of the motor skills.

Fun for boys of all ages!

Short life span
My 9 year old loved it for a couple of days. The remote control must have gotten lost quickly, because I never saw it. A whole bunch of batteries were needed.

Fun for the Whole Family, Apparently
I bought this for my nephew's 11th birthday. I don't see my brother's kids often, so I had no idea whether this would be something an outdoors-loving, sports-playing young electronics addict would enjoy. Two days after it arrived my brother called to tell me that it works perfectly, the discs fly pretty far (for indoors) and that the whole family was having a blast with it.

Good Family Fun
I purchased this Nerf game for my 12 year old son. It is really pretty cool and he and I have spent about 15 minutes on several occasions playing with it.
The first issue that we had was our 8 foot tall ceilings are not high enough for the product. Perhaps 10 or 12 feet are needed. We solved this by placing the product down in a stairwell with lots of clearance. We stood at the top of the stairwell and fired from there. In this arrangement, the disks were often at eye level or slightly below when we were firing. Also, we had to learn to track the path of the disk with the gun and fire near the top of the height of the disk.
The disk launcher can fire straight up or at a variable angle. Straight up worked fine for us. The variable angle would tend to hit the wall. One cool thing is that the height of the disk is intentionally varied to make this more challenging.
To start the disk, there is an IR (infrared) remote control mounted on the top of the gun. Press this button and the disk launcher starts a countdown process with a progression of beeps. When the disk is launched, try to follow its path from the launcher using the gun and then fire at the top of the arc. If I am careful, I can hit the disks about half the time. The darts are designed to stick to the disks, but that does not happen very often. This is not really a problem, but it would be cool if they stuck to the disks.
This product is very safe, however, you want to make sure that your child knows not to shoot someone in the face. You could do some eye damage at close range. Otherwise, you can safely take a hit a point blank range as my son and I often do.
This is a challenging and fun game and I highly recommend it.

Birthday present for grandson
My soon to be nine year old grandson had only one request from me for his birthday....the spy robot car. "But," he told me, " how much can you spend....they are [...]!" If only it was made well
This toy is so much fun... when it works. The boy that I work with got his for Christmas last year and it was so cool... for a week. Then the wheel fell off and the parts were so tiny that we couldn't them. It was a very expensive piece of trash. I then bought my daughter one thinking that it was just a fluke that his was junk. However, when my daughter's spy car arrived the video camera was faulty and we got no picture through the glasses. I think that if they put as much thought into the production as they did into the concept it would be amazing, however, I think they need to go "back to the drawing board" and get it right.

Good Practice
Got this for Nana to give as BD gift. Fun to watch her take pictures and seeing the results are priceless. She takes pictures of anything laying around...her baby doll, a button, can of soda, a flower, etc. and she is so proud of herself for taking the pictures. Makes for Happy Mornings!
My 7-year-old daughter got this for Christmas last year and loves it! When it wakes her up, she is always happy (no more grumpy mornings -- really). Clock and alarm aren't the easiest to set, but OK once you get the hang of it. Did not wake up my child in the next room.

My daughter loves this toy. It is not really a toy though; it is actually an alarm clock which makes morning in our household much more pleasant. The alarm is a no-brainer to set, which is good because I have to re-set the alarm nightly since it is really easy for my daughter to mess with the buttons. For those times when she want to make the puppy bark, I can just set it on "Try Me" mode so she can squeeze the paw and it will bark. The fur is really soft, but the body under the fur, especially the bum, is pretty hard ... I'm not quite sure how impact resistant it is, I guess time will tell. I'm very happy with the purchase.

This is not a toy in my eyes. It IS an alarm clock that just happens to be CUTE and cuddly!
My daughter received this last Christmas, she was 5. Almost one year later she still adores it. It wakes her up for school in the morning with its little bark.
I think it is more appropriate for a child than a plugged in clock radio. It will wake them up with a smile and they have something to cuddle through the night.

Fun Easy to Use Girls Laptop
Bought for 2 year old birthday. She LOVED it! Very durable. Lots of different activities like charming pairs, numbers, memory matches, classical music snipets, good stuff. She quickly mastered the wand but does not use the mouse too much.

My daughter loves this and it has alot of great games and learning tools. The graphics are terrible. I would think with technology today they could have made a screen that was more up to speed but the graphics/screen is pretty lame. It reminds me of a computer game from the 80's. Everything works great and it's easy for my 4 year old to use. I'd rather pay just a bit more & have enhanced graphics.

Great Toy!!
I bought this for my 7 year old. This toy is so great. It does so many things that the fur-real pets dont do. If you speak clearly, and do as the directions say, it works 95% of the time. we have had so much fun with this dog. and it does so many things. (it doesnt just "sit" and "come here")..there are about 15-20 things that this dog can do. Great fun!!

I just tested this toy for the 08 christmas- 4 double a batteries needed so you cant test it in the store- make sure you buy yours ahead of time- easy to get out of the box and I already had fun playing with it- im sure my 5 year old will adore it. for the price it is way above the other comparable robot dogs and although i had my doubts it does play tug of war and stand on its head it even puts its paws up and plays dead-dont try it on the coffee table though- floor is better. it seems simple to command.
I think this will be great to remind chidren to say a dogs name before a command and how to talk to animals- we have 2 dogs who were both reacting as if lucky was a new dog in the family (so cute). This is looking to be good christmas morning. lucky is cute and responds to petting, it is too bad he doesnt walk on a leash- that would be the only improvemet.

Great for Everyone
This puppy is so cute! You can even change the name. It recognizes anyone's voice. Lots of fun & very soft. The whole family loves it! It is a great alternative to a real puppy because you can turn it on and off and do not need to buy food or pick up poop!

It's something your kids can spend a lot of time playing with
After reading the reviews, I got the impression that this toy looks good in robot and truck mode. I was not disappointed. Once I got it out of the package, which was not easy, my 11 year old son took it. He pulled things in different directions for about 20 seconds, decided that things were complicated, and he wanted to look for an on-line tutorial. He has an older transformer that is relatively complex, and I was never able to figure that one out. We expected this to be tougher, so I wasn't surprised that he did not dive into it.

I glanced at the instructions and could not make sense of them. Perhaps it was because I did not start out as in the beginning picture. But I tend to be good with "picture only" instructions, and this one will not act as a simple "how to" guide. After playing around with it for a while, I found that it was not as tough as I expected. My son said that since it took me about 15 to 20 minutes, it could not be so bad. He decided to do it on his own and had a lot of fun with it.

After you do it a couple of times, it might not take more than 5-6 minutes to become a truck, but it is still intricate enough that it will not be boring for a child. It's not something that will get cast aside after a few days. Turning it into a robot is relatively trivial. If you merely pull everything outwards, it becomes self evident fairly quickly. But there will still be a few stumbling blocks, especially the first few times, and there will be a few things that won't be quite right without a little work.

I would not recommend it for a five year old, or for anybody who tends not to be good at puzzles or similar toys. But if experience tells you that you are ready for it, or if you don't mind a good challenge, you end up with an impressive looking robot and truck. If you make sure that the child's expectations are set correctly, it can be good for a variety of skill levels. Let them know that it will take time to figure out, but it will be fun trying to do it.

One con is that it does not have much ground clearance as a truck. Pushing it along a sidewalk could scrape up the joint in the middle of the bottom. For indoor play, it should withstand more roughness.

Transforming it is like playing with a Rubik's cube. It's tough at first, you can eventually get it down to a few minutes, and you will probably get bored with it once it becomes easy. The difference is that your child won't need to keep transforming it, since the goal is creating a toy, not solving a puzzle. Both the truck and robot are fun for a child to play with.

There are different versions of this, so do a search on amazon before you buy it. Mine came with an extra two small figures, and cost less than buying Optimus Prime alone. But prices can fluctuate daily.

He is Otimus Prime
I bought this product from a local store and i have to say that it is one of the best Optimus Prime figures i'v ever seen, the transformation from truck to robot leader is kinda hard, but once you get used to it, it gets easier. Th one i got has the blaster, i would have liked the sword but the blaster is fun when you use it to shoot other figures or your annoying cat. It's not really for younger kida, esspically since it is kind hard to transform, but if your older person and kid at heart, get it, esspically if your a fan of Transformers, wether it be the comic, tv show, or movie.

Okay for others, not for me!
I have to rate this game low because of the extreme motion sickness it gave me trying to play it. If you are like me and cannot play many 3D games, stay away from this, it will make you sick in no time! Other than that, it might be an okay game!

The Best Platformer in Ages!
This game has been acclaimed from north to south, east to west, but I'm going to go ahead and add my voice to the choir: Super Mario Galaxy is awesome.

It is every bit an equal to its predecessor, Super Mario 64, and perhaps a bit beyond it. The game is consistently astounding in its inventiveness, starting with circumnavigating globular worlds and progressing to flying as a bee, phasing through walls as a ghost, invading battleships, and navigating a windstream inside a giant bubble. The gameplay is never static, always changing and keeping the player engaged. It takes a great deal of will power to stop playing, as you always want to keep going around the next corner to try the next new challenge.

Visually, it's one of the most impressive games on the Wii. Viewed on an 32" LCD through component cables, it may lack the definition of a 360 or PS3 game but it will nonetheless leave you awestruck. Metal gleams, solar flares, gigantic boss fights, and enough color to make Crayola jealous. The sights pop, keeping the energy level high. The same goes for the orchestrated score, which manages to both create an epic feel (appropriate for the galactic gameplay) while at the same time referencing the music of games past, particularly Super Mario Bros. 3.

If you own a Wii, buy this game. If you don't own a Wii, buy one so that you won't feel foolish for buying this game.

I haven't been this entertained by a game since 1996. You won't regret the purchase.

Mario Rocks!
My daughter has been playing this game for many hours, and can't stop! The graphics are awsome, she says, and the game is very interesting, complicated but just easy enough to pass it, and still to be fun. Oh, and my daughter is 12.

Princess for a princess

Mine didn't wear out...impressed with durability
I got this for my son for his 1st Christmas, and it was the best $20 I spent. This thing has lasted for EVER...he has pounded on it, stopped the wheels with his hands and feet, sat on it, stood on it, turned it upside down and fallen on it...it still hasn't kicked it...I keep waiting on the motor to give it up, but the thing just keeps taking the abuse. My son was 5 months when we gave it to him, and it was an incentive to sit up and play, as well as a fun way for him to learn hand/eye coordination by dropping the balls in the primary tree house hole. When he tired of just doing that he learned to push the button, step on the button and bang the button with other toys. Now he's working on sliding things in at the triggers on the ball paths from the back of the toy...It's not MY personal favorite, but we're on our second set of batteries in a world where he loses interest before one set wears out...I'm happy with my 7 months of enjoyment for 20 bucks. I love him try and fit NEW things through that hole (his shoe the other day), and he doesn't mind the noise and music, so I try not too...

Great toy, but stops spinning after some time
My son got this when he was six months old, and it really taught him a lot. The night he got it, he learned how to sit up on his own without support. It taught him how to push the button to make it spin, and really held his attention. Over a year later, he's still playing with it, although he uses it to put his zoo animals in. The only thing that I don't like is that it stopped spinning. It still makes the sounds, but the wheels just stopped turning. I took the whole thing apart, tried to make sure the bands were on properly, and still nothing. I replaced the batteries, everything. The spinning function is just dead. He still uses it, so overall it's a great toy, but don't expect it to last long enough to be passed down to a younger child.

Lots of fun for baby, but wears out in weeks!
Like some many others, I found that this toy was a lot of fun for my baby. UNFORTUNATELY it wore out in a matter of weeks. I tried taking it apart. I was able to get it to work for a few more weeks, but after that it refused to spin. It has been very frustrating since we bought more balls just for this toy. What a waste! I am going to call the company tomorrow!

Instant favorite!
I bought this toy because it was on sale. In my opinion, there are much more interesting toys in our house, but my boys definitely prefer this one. They started playing with it before I got a chance to take it out of the box and played with it ever since (from 8 to 12 months). I highly recommend this toy!

Simple
I got this for my son when he was 5 months old. He's 18 months old now and this is still one of the toys he plays with the most. It's so simple, yet, entertaining. The first song that he sang was "E I E I O". I even bought more of those blocks for him to go with this.

Sing and Sounds Farm Excellent
I bought this toy for my son when he was 1 month old, but he did not start playing with it of course till much older. He was about 9 1/2 months when he started but did not enjoy it totally until he was about 1 to 1 1/2 years old. He loves this toy. Taking the box and putting it in and out of the slots. The sounds he also loves. This is a great present for a child. We highly recommend.

Fun Toy to Grow with
Fun toy for babies of all ages. My son started enjoying this at 3months and still likes it at 27months.

Incredibly annoying
After purchasing this online, I realized that all musical toys should be heard first and never bought untested; the songs drove my husband and I nuts. We couldn't stand listening to the woman singing and finally we just hid it; I'm planning to take it to a neighborhood toy swap and be rid of it altogether. We also thought that the animal sounds were not convincing or recognizable. Of course, to each their own- we loved the Munchkin Mozart cube. I see lots of people like this toy, so it comes down to a personal (musical) preference.

keeps him busy
I bought this for a 15 ms active toddler. It's become his car toy. He sits and spins it very contently for about 1/2 an hour at a time. Excellent!!

More fun than LeapFrog Learn and Groove table
I was shopping for an activity table and found this one on sale. I also bought Leapfrog Learn and Groove table that got excellent reviews and seems to be the most popular. However, both of my twins prefer Light and Sound Safari. They are fascinated by spinning discs with flashing lights. If I had to buy only one table now, I would definitely buy this one, although LeapFrog is pretty good too. The only thing I do not like that it can be easily moved around. Also it is lower than Leapfrog's. And I am yet to find on/off switch (I don't think there is one).

This a wonderful toy for all young. My grandchildren cannot leave it alone! Its very educational and colorfull at the same time.

My 1-Year-Old LOVES this Toy!!
I got this Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Fountain for Willow last week and she absolutely LOVES it. She loves pulling out and chewing on the shapes and making the little bee fly around the bottom. She also loves pushing on the birds.

The thing I love about the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn series of toys is that they have a "music" mode and a "abc" mode. The "abc" mode is the learning mode (obviously). You can't go wrong with these toys!!

Now that she is older, Willow also loves switching between modes all on her own!! And the durability is magnificent! She has done everything to this toy and it still works like the day we got it!

Worth Every Penny!
I bought this toy for my daughter when she was 9 months old. It quickly became her favorite, and she still plays with it every day at 11 months. She really enjoys pushing the water and birds and rocking to the music. The sound is clear, and the voice is easy to understand. I love that it teaches her numbers, shapes, and colors. The construction is sturdy, and the toy still looks brand new after two months of daily use by a toddler. I would definitely recommend this one.

My Daugher LOVES This Toy!
I saw this toy when researching what to get my daughter for her first birthday. I also saw the Learning Kitchen. I wanted to get her both, but it just wasn't something we could do based on the price of both toys, so we decided to buy her the kitchen (which is also amazing!). A few weeks later we were at a children's consignment shop and saw this toy for an amazing $15. It was in perfect condition, already put together and had all of the parts with it. From the day we brought it home, my daughter has played with it almost non-stop. She loves the "mail" and mailbox, the lightswitch, opening and closing the door and the window, playing the radio, moving the hands on the clock, flipping through the address book and spinning the sun/moon. It even incorporates other Fisher Price toys, and has a "charger" spot for the Laugh & Learn Learning Phone. We usually set this up with her ride-on toys next to it as a drive way, and put the kitchen behind it. She loves to play with this toy and it really is an excellent choice. Great job, Fisher Price!!

Best Toy We Have Purchased
We bought this toy for our son when he was around 7 months old. This was during the time he was crawling and pulling up on everything! He is of the personality that nothing really entertains him for more than 5 minutes (even his leapfrog table that most kids love), but he will play with this toy for quite some time. He is now 10 months old and walking and still plays with this toy every day. It has been a lot of fun watching him learn new things about the toy as he gets older. He loves putting the balls down the shoot and flipping the light switch on and off. I love how sturdy the toy is because my son is constantly pulling up on it and even tries climbing up it. I feel like this toy will continue to be a hit with him until he is a year and a half or so.

kids love it
I brought this toy yesterday and it's a hit! I brought it for my 9month old twin boys...but my older kids totally took over lol...they're 15,14 and 11....I had to shoo them away so the babies could play :) I must say though...the price of this toy is kind of high...I brought mine from babys r us for 70 bucks....even though I had a 15% off coupon..it's still pricy.....I took the plunge though after reading all of the glowing reviews....they were pretty dead on...this toy's packed with things to do...my favorite...is the little light switch on the back....TO CUTE!! I can see this toy growing with my boys...and being one that they'll love for a long time!

	Fisher-Price Smart Cycle Disappointed Rider My 4 year gets very bored when he rides the Smart Cycle. He doesn't last more than 10 minutes on it. We have had this toy for almost a year now, and I don't think he has played with it more than a dozen times. This is definetely not an excercise toy due to the fact it has no resistance when the child rides the toy. Also, the Smart Cycle runs through batteries. I had to go buy rechargable batteries. Finally, we own 3 different games, but they seem to have the same concept except with different characters. With all the technology available, I think Fisher Price could of made this toy more fun!

Good but one of the strings is packed inefficiently.
The toy was great! However beware the black hanging string in the front. It looks like packaging string and can be inadvertently cut if your not careful. The manufacturers should have secured it in a manner so that its clear its part of the toy. IE Put a do not cut label on it!

Hours of Fun!
My son wanted this for his 4th birthday. Definitely the favorite gift! Now 6 months later he still plays with it with many different characters (like Speed Racer), not just Batman. But I love that it comes with many more accessories that we can add onto for other holidays and birthdays.

Wonderful toy!
My sons, 3 and 7, both LOVE this toy. We've had it a week and its gone with us everywhere. It has survived being dropped, knocked over multiple times and dumped by the three year old into the bathtub (but shortly removed therafter)

I would recommend it to anyone with small boys, especially those who like Batman. My only suggestion is to set aside a plastic baggie for the smallest pieces, which can easily get lost if not put away properly.

Greates Toy Ever!!!
We purchased this dinosaur for my 1yr old son, Ruben. Not only does my child enjoy it but us as parents do too. It is not one of those annoying toys you want to hide after a while. Great Toy!! Kids Will Love it!! Godzilla for Kids!!
Spike is a GREAT toy and will be very popular over the holidays! On the upside for kids, Spike is loud, has flashing lights, and is VERY Godzilla-like in his world view!! His remote control is very simple to use and most children can master it. His mouth is big enough to completely eat the ping-pong ball size "rocks" that come with him.

On the downside, he's loud. And, like many of these robotic toys, the walking motions are not particularly smooth. Spike lurches more than he walks. But, he is capable of moving across the landscape of your family room.

Overall, great toy! Have fun. Construct a large model city with your kids and then destroy it with Spike. It is the substance from which childhood memories are made.

I bought 3 of these for my grandkids for Christmas. I tried each one and feel the price is very high for the performance. They don't inter-act they just make animal sounds. The real fur animals are less expensive and do the same thing in my opinion.

Very Lovable Cub
My 4 year old son loves animals and was going through a phase of being afraid of the dark so I was happy to find this. I thought this cub was fantastic, and my friends even got some for their kids after seeing ours. After about a month though, the mechanical noises that it makes while it moves did start to grain on my son, and he always asks me to turn it off now when he is going to bed. All in all, a good "pet" for a boy or a girl.

Over-hyped and over-priced
This toy isn't much better than most of the remote controlled toys you see out there. However, Mattell is putting a HUGE amount of advertising and hype into it for Christmas. Awesome!
We bought D-REX as a birthday present for our 8-year old son and he can't stop playing with it. He wanted "Spike" from Fisher Price until seeing D-Rex on TV. The first time we put batteries in and flipped the switch, it was like being in Jurassic Park. The thing is scarily alive AND really funny. Gave me (a man in his 30s) a big happy chill up the spine. Overall, one of the best toys we've ever bought him. Very durable and realistic. Highly-recommended.

DRex for my Twins
I got this for my twins and they love their DRex. My daughter and son plays hide and seek with it. They both love to pet D Rex and watch him react to it (waging his tail, making some happy noise & moving his eye brows). I do just let DRex do his thing around the kids. But I use the controller when I'm playing with my kids with DRex. I've even shot videos of them playing with their DRex. I'll post them on Youtube. Over all, I'm pretty happy to have gotten this for my twins.

I haven't given this to my daughter yet. It's a Christmas present. I'm reviewing it solely on my experience with it so far.

Disappointed
I brought the Panda Bear for my 3 year old niece who saw it on QVC and had to have it for Christmas. It looks cute, but the gears over power the nose the Panda makes. I'm a little upset about that, because instead of hearing the Panda make his cute little sounds, all you hear are the gears moving. Hopefully my niece doesn't mind the extra noise.

A real alternative to living pet animals
I bought this toy for a three year old grand daughter of mine living in San Marcos, CA. I live in Delhi, India. She is treating it as a living being, enjoying every movements and actions. Action toys that to Robotic ones, almost simulating the real life animal behaviour, puts children to yet another dimension of interaction with animals. WowWee alive Lion cub is real creative work of animal lovers, it cannot be a commercial production by few electronic engineers. Its actions are real expresions are amazing, priced out so low.

Love the Lion!
I got this lion for my 6 year old daughter before she got her tonsils out. She had seen a commercial ONCE and fell in love. She was hoping she might get it for Christmas, but was tickeled to get it at her "good-bye tonsils" party. She was excited to show the hospital staff how he roared and purred - even his little mouth moves. Most commented that their kids, even older ones, would love to have one (unless they kept it for themselves)! They were amazed at how life-like he is and one nurse commented that she wouldn't be surprised if he pounced! Since she could easily turn it off, it stayed tucked benieth her blankets during surgery. He was a perfect companion to cuddle as she recovered - she still sleeps with him. "Tawney" is still very much a favorite, now a bit more active in her play! I would highly recommend this sweet little lion!

Very cute
My almost 3 yo LOVES dogs. While in the store one day he grabbed this off the shelf and there was no way it was not coming home with us. I was not impressed until I realized it was on try me and not the on position. So we switched it on and it was to cute. Both my 2yo and 4 yo love him. The 2 yo walks around with him and tells it "good boy" and shows him stuff and talks to him just like he would a real dog. Yes the stuff inside is hard and he is not a cuddly animal but my kids still snuggle him. All in all it is a great toy.

Not Really Appealing
Bought this for my g'daughter's 4th birthday but sent it back immediately. The machinery that makes the dog roll over is very hard and young kids cannot really cuddle up with this one. The dog isn't very appealing or cute.

Great idea, but it needs work.
