Very cute
My almost 3 yo LOVES dogs. While in the store one day he grabbed this off the shelf and there was no way it was not coming home with us. I was not impressed until I realized it was on try me and not the on position. So we switched it on and it was to cute. Both my 2yo and 4 yo love him. The 2 yo walks around with him and tells it "good boy" and shows him stuff and talks to him just like he would a real dog. Yes the stuff inside is hard and he is not a cuddly animal but my kids still snuggle him. All in all it is a great toy.

Not Really Appealing
Bought this for my g'daughter's 4th birthday but sent it back immediately. The machinery that makes the dog roll over is very hard and young kids cannot really cuddle up with this one. The dog isn't very appealing or cute.

Great idea, but it needs work.

Fur Real Kitten
I bought two of these kittens for my twin granddaughters. They look so real and are really very cute. They are Christmas presents so the girls have not seen them yet. I am sure they will love them just as much as I do!

Scared My Child Witless! Let the Adults Have This One!
Just the demo in the store was enough to give my child nightmares. Especially when he discovered we had one put away for him for Christmas. He refused to sleep till we took him to our local pound and he saw it locked in a cage. Now you adults would really get a kick out of this so real like creepy cat. Myself, I didn't like the way his mouth moved and the looks he gave me.

My toddler loves it!
A few months ago Grandma brought this cat to my toddler who is now 22 months old. She loves it! She calls it "kitty kitty" and carries it all over the house. When it hisses she says "uh-oh" and gives it a hug. She offers to share her snacks with it. It the first thing she looks for when she wakes up in the morning and the last one she says goodnight to at the end of the day.

Downside: It has gotten really dingy around the throat and face. No amount of cleaning keeps it clean for more than a day. Also she has broken both of its back legs and it won't sit up anymore. These are not issues with the doll, just issues related to giving this doll to a toddler.

Much Better Deal Available
Skip Biscuit - much better deal can be had. Local store charged us $85 for a lovin' pup that walks, barks, wags its tail, actually licks your face (really! no joke!), jumps in your lap, it has a huge library of tricks... the store has a large selection of breeds and colors. Believe me - your child will play with this lovin' pup for years and years - they'll grow up with this pup and it'll be a real friend forever. Most cities have an outlet for this store... locally it's called the Humane Society. Check your phone book for your local shop. When you buy a lovin' pup from this store it's a purchase you'll never regret...

It's Cute and Great for a child who has no dog.
It's a great and cute toy. It performs Like it's suppose to, but my daughter lost interest quickly. However, I think it's because we have two dogs. They are young dogs and always getting into something etc.. So, I think it is perfect for a child who wants a dog, but doesn't or can't have a real one.
